Description

Sunset tour from Taormina to Mt Etna, admiring the the wonderful landscape of the Volcano.

After pick up from your hotel, you will head for Zafferana Etnea, a little town important for its honey production, where you will visit one of the most famous organic farms for a delicious sampling of typical products such as honey, wine, oil etc.

The excursion will continue with the visit a lava cave using helmets and lamps.

You will then do some trekking through one of the Nature Paths of Etna Park, before arriving at Rifugio Sapienza (1900 m). From here, after a pleasant walk around lava flows of the last eruptions and the ancient Silvestri craters (1892), you will have the chance to enjoy a wonderful breath-taking sunset.
